When the Quick Connect Capture Agent Service starts there is an event logged in the QC Server event log.
Event ID: 1007, QC
Critical error on Quick Connect service start occurred.
The error details could be either:
Error details: Root element is missing
This issue is caused by a caSvcCfg.xml file which contains malformed or obsolete information.
Delete the file:
C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Quick Connect Capture Agent\caSvcCfg.xml
C:\Program Files\Dell\One Identity Quick Connect Capture Agent\caSvcCfg.xml
Restart the Quick Connect Capture Agent Service allowing the Quick Connect Capture Agent Service to regenerate the configuration file.
