Description
After attempting to create a new web interface site through the web interface sites configuration wizard, the application crashes after performing a restart of Internet Information Services (IIS). The new site is created but is assigned to the incorrect application pool causing the web site to fail. -
Cause
The web interface sites configuration wizard has one or more websites that are not listed within IIS -
Resolution
Compare the web sites listed within the web interface sites configuration wizard to the current web sites listed within IIS. If the web site is not listed within IIS, launch the web interface sites configuration tool and delete the web site.
