Custom icons/logos are not taken in account and are replaced by a cross/x or broken image file icons. (4276245)

After customizing the WI sites with custom icons/logos, you notice that they are not displayed. Instead a cross image/x or a broken image file icon is shown, even though the format/size of the files are as specified in the documentation.

Permissions missing from the CustomImages directory. 

SOLUTION

1) Grant full permissions for the service account to the directory below (default installation location) on all AR service instances:

C:\Program Files\Dell\Active Roles\7.x\Web\Public\CustomImages

2) Reset IIS.
