When a remote Active Roles console is left idle after a period of inactivity, one or more of the following error messages will be displayed:
There was an error receiving from the TCP socket. The operation did not complete within the time allotted.
The proxy has faulted and as a result the call is being aborted.
The current service proxy state '5' was not appropriate for the requested operation.
It may be necessary to adjust the default timeout value of the KeepAliveTimeout from 300 seconds (5 minutes) to a greater value.
NOTE: The following steps involve changing an entry in the Windows Registry. Backup the full registry prior to making changes to avoid having issues.
