The Active Roles 7.2.x Web Interface attempts to retrieve specific fonts from the internet upon first use. If Active Roles is unable to retrieve these fonts, the resulting timeout delays loading actions in the Web Interface.
This is typically seen in environments where internet access is restricted on the Active Roles server, or the Google Fonts API is blocked.
STATUS
This issue has been resolved as of Active Roles 7.3.
WORKAROUND
To manually resolve this in versions prior to 7.3:
Option 1) Provide Internet access to the Active Roles Server
Option 2) Locate the cux.css file in the Active Roles installation folder, and replace it with the cux.css file attached to this KB. This updated file removes the calls to the fonts API.
