Attempting to set the Active Roles Service Account in the Active Roles Configuration Center failed with the error:

Unable to configure the Active Roles Administration Service to use the specified service account. Exception of type 'ActiveRoles.Service.Configuration.LogonTypeNotGrantedException' was thrown.

Confirm that:

1. The Active Roles Service Account is in the local Administrators group on the Active Roles Administration Service host
2. The Active Roles service account (or a group which it is a member of) is not noted in the Local Security Policy under Local Policies | User Rights Assignment | Deny log on as a service
