Description
When parent and child domains are both managed in Active Roles, searching for cross-domain members to add to a Universal or Domain Local group in Web Interface returns no results.
When searching from the root of Active Directory, all expected results from all domains are returned.
This issue is not present in the Active Roles Console.

Cause
This issue is a product defect and is being tracked as Defect ID 402012. -
Resolution
WORKAROUND 1
Add members to the group using any Active Roles client other than the Active Roles Web Interface.
WORKAROUND 2
Search for members from the root of Active Directory and not from the root of a domain.
STATUS
Waiting for a fix in a future release of Active Roles. -
