This article describes how to enable verbose logging for Active Roles and gather the resulting log file named DS.log.
Active Roles diagnostic information is recorded in the DS.log file when debug logging mode is enabled.
This may be required for troubleshooting purposes.

After the appropriate logging has been captured, immediately disable logging
See attached screenshot for example: Logging-7.x.jpg
Active Roles 6.9 and prior:
To disable logging:
Log file location:
By default, the log file produced by the Active Roles Administration service is named ds.log. The file is located in the Active Roles installation folder that defaults to:
C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Quest One Active Roles
C:\Program Files\One Identity\Active Roles\7.x\Service
This location can be changed using the LogPath registry key
Value name: LogPath
