Receiving the following error message when trying to start Apache httpd after VAS 4.2.x is installed:Syntax error on line 1 of /etc/httpd/conf.d/auth_vas4.conf: Cannot load /usr/lib64/httpd/modules/mod_auth_vas4.so into server: /usr/lib64/httpd/modules/mod_auth_vas4.so: undefined symbol: vassym_krb5_get_error_name

Resolution
Authentication Services 4.2.0 does not support integration with any third-party applications using GSSAPI. mod_auth_vas (MAV) makes use of GSSAPI. GSSAPI support was fixed in Authentication Services 4.2.1.25203 and subsequent releases.release.

The MAV version that you need to install with QAS 4.2.1 and up is MAV version 4.0.2.4 which can be downloaded here: https://github.com/OneIdentity/mod_auth_vas/releases/tag/4.0.2.4
