Yes, the following steps will need to be taken:
1) After importing the XML metadata from Cisco Call Manager the certificate that had been imported automatically in CAM needs to be removed, since Cisco Call Manager was not signing the SAML requests.
This change is made in the ‘Federation Settings’ section of the application in CAM, there should be a trash can icon near the bottom of the UI.
2) After removing the above certificate it is required to add a claim mapping for uid, which is mapped to the SAMAccountName.
3) Then change the samltoken.name_id setting to be urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:2.0:nameid-format:transient which is found in the ‘Token Settings’ section in the Application in CAM.
