While installing a Web Certificate in TPAM, the error "An error occured Installing the Web Certificate Error: Certificate is not valid for use! Certificate not valid." is received.
One potential cause could be that the current date is not valid when compared to the "Valid From" and "Valid To" dates of the certificate.
Verify that the current time is within the valid date/time of the generated certificate. For example, from a Windows system: open (double-click) the certificate *.CER file and view the Details tab to confirm the "Valid from" and "Valid to" fields.
It is possible that the certificate was generated in a different time zone than the TPAM appliance. In this case, the certificate may not be valid until the "Valid to" time has been reached.
Another example that might generate this error would be if the time zone of either the TPAM appliance or the Certificate Issuer is set incorrectly, this may also cause the certificate to be outside of the 'Valid From" date.
