When using TPAM in a High Availability (HA) environment what steps can be performed to troubleshoot port 22 and 8000 connectivity issues between the Primary and Replica appliances?
TROUBLESHOOTING TEST #1:
*Please note the following is for TPAM version 2.5 and above (applicable for port 22 and 8000)
1. From Primary, run the TelnetTest to the Replica over port 8000: /admin interface, Net Tools | TelnetTest
2. From Replica, run the TelnetTest to the Primary over port 8000
If the TelnetTest fails please perform the following:
1. Ensure that there are no firewalls between the Primary or Replica blocking traffic/communication
2. Ensure that the Alerts log of the Primary and Replica appliance are clean of errors
TROUBLESHOOTING TEST #2:
*Please note the following is for TPAM version 2.4.804 (for port 22)
1. From Primary, run the TelnetTest to the Replica over port 22: /parconfig interface, Net Tools | TelnetTest
2. From Replica, run the TelnetTest to the Primary over port 22
If the TelnetTest fails please perform the following:
1. Ensure that there are no firewalls between the Primary or Replica blocking traffic/communication
