How to install this hotfixTo install the update:
1. Rename the file 
DefenderDesktopLogin-5.8.2-SOL202057-2.exe.rename to remove the 
.rename file name extension.
2. Run the file 
DefenderDesktopLogin-5.8.2-SOL202057-2.exe on the computer running Defender Desktop Login and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
How to determine if this hotfix is installedTo determine if the update is installed:
1. On the computer running Defender Desktop Login, open the list of installed programs and updates (appwiz.cpl).
2. Under 
Tasks, click 
View installed updates.
3. Inspect the list of installed programs and updates. When this hotfix is installed, the following item is present in the list:

How to remove this hotfixTo remove the update
1. On the computer running Defender Desktop Login, open the list of installed programs and updates (appwiz.cpl).
2. Under 
Tasks, click 
View installed updates.
3 In the list of installed programs and updates, click to select the hotfix entry 
Defender Desktop Login Hotfix: SOL202057-2, and then click 
Uninstall.

- To remove the update from a 32-bit system, run the following command at a command prompt:
