After successfully passing the Windows authentication credentials to the Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) login page, the following screen appears and an error is displayed instead of requesting a token.
WORKAROUND
1. Uninstall Defender AD FS adapter
2. Open Windows PowerShell in elevated privileges
3. Run the below PowerShell cmdlet to unregister previously registered Defender AD FS Adapter settings
Unregister-AdfsAuthenticationProvider -Name "Defender AD FS Adapter"
4. Restart the system and install Defender AD FS adapter product
