Try to add 'full control' permissions to the following registry entry for the user:
HKLM\Software\PassGo Technologies\Defender\Defender Gina\Policy\Username
Note that manually changing the permissions for the registry entry may not survive a reboot of the client.
This can occur if you are using the Defender Desktop login Group policy as this resets the permissions.
