When logging in for the first time on Windows 10 build 1903 or later a message that says 'Incorrect function' is displayed. -
Description
While using Defender Desktop Login on a system running Windows 10 build 1903 or later and someone logs in for the first time they get an error or a timeout.

Cause
A timeout or an error stating "Incorrect function" -
Resolution
WORKAROUND:
Have the user login at least once prior to installing Desktop Login. If Desktop Login is already installed please use these steps;
- Uninstall Desktop Login
- Have the user login so the user profile is created.
- Install Desktop Login
RESOLUTION:
This issue is being tracked as defect number 216836 to be fixed in a future release.
