Enhancement to support administration of Defender objects from within the Quest ActiveRoles Server MMC Admin console
Note: Defender Admin Console 5.6.0.2593 or later is also required on the server hosting the Quest ARS Administration service

To install this hotfix:
1. An upgrade of the 'Defender Active Roles Admin Service Pack' is required - run 'Defender Active Roles Admin Service Pack.msi' or 'Defender Active Roles Admin Service Pack (x64).msi'.
2. Defender Admin Console 5.6.0.2593 or later is required on the same server as the ARS Admin Service.
3. A restart of the 'Quest ActiveRoles Administration Service' is required.
To determine if this hotfix is installed:
1. Open 'Add or Remove Programs' or 'Programs and Features'.
2. Find the "Defender ActiveRoles Server Admin Service Integration Pack" software.
3. The version number should read '5.6.0.2593'.
4. Find the 'Defender Console' software.
5. The version number should read '5.6.0.2593'.
To remove this hotfix:
1. Uninstall version 5.6.0.2593 from 'Add or Remove Programs' or 'Programs and Features'.
2. Re-install the previous version. -
