Can Reports be emailed? -
Description
There is a requirement to generate various reports have them emailed to various parties.
Is this possible using Defender Reports, and if so, how does one go about doing this? -
Resolution
Currently, there is no option to email Reports. There is an existing enhancement request submitted for this, #2241.
Generated reports are stored here: C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Defender\Defender Web\WWW\Areas\Reports\ScheduledReports
The Reports saveed here are the XML data for the reports and there is no formatting. There is some formatting with the HTML code. So for a formatted report you would have to choose to save the generated report using the "Save" icon. Then you could save the report in HTML format for distribution.
