One Identity Defender Hotfix for KB 4378246 - Google Authenticator App version 7.0 activation code fix -
Description
This hotfix addresses the below functionality issue.
After scanning the QR image, Google Authenticator app version 7.0 shows dashes (--- ---) instead of the OTP response code.
When creating the Google Authenticator soft token via ADUC, on entering the activation code manually in the google authenticator (7.0), the same error about illegal character occurred but after removing the hyphen from the activation code, you can activate a token successfully in google authenticator app (7.0).
This hotfix also fixes an issue where using the PUSH keyword in upper case failed to trigger push notification in the Defender soft token app.

1. Copy the supplied file (Defender-6.#.#-SOL4378246-#.exe.rename) to the computer running Defender.
2. Remove the .rename file name extension.
3. Run the (Defender-6.#.#-SOL4378246-#.exe) and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the hotfix installation.

Removing this hotfixTo remove this hotfix
1. On the computer running Defender, open the list of installed programs and updates (appwiz.cpl).
