How do I get an urgent replacement for a failed hardware token?
If you are an end user, please contact the Defender administrator within your organization.
If you are the Defender administrator, we recommend you keep a small stock of additional hardware tokens in reserve, in case of hardware token failure. Your sales representative can help you gain a replacement token - in the meantime, you can set a temporary helpdesk token response for the user to provide continued Defender authentication.
Alternatively, you can complete the attached Certificate of Destruction, destroy the failed token, and email the certificate to firstname.lastname@example.org.
