The following is a list of issues resolved in the latest hotfix, Version 184.108.40.20612 which was released October 21, 2011.
0002997 - Modified the Defender Desktop Login Credential Provider so that the users password is no longer cached after a failed login attempt. In previous versions of Defender Desktop Login the password was remembered and displayed as asterisks.
For example, this behaviour would have occurred if the user provided the wrong Defender token response.
Note: This behaviour change is only applicable when the Defender "Remember user's passwords" box is unchecked.
0002975 - Modified the Defender Desktop Login Credential Provider to restart the authentication process should the Microsoft login be unsuccessful.
For example when the Windows administrator has set the "Deny logon locally" permission.
0002907 - Provided an additional registry key switch to alter the process for AD group enumeration. This switch would only be required in AD environments where the current group lookup fails due to insufficient permissions.
To enable this functionality you need to set the following registry key (valid for x86 & x64 platforms)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\PassGo Technologies\Defender\Defender GINA
DWORD: Authenticate LDAP connection
0002739 - Improvements to address an issue where a long delay may be seen during the authentication process.
0002738 - Fixed an issue during the AD group lookup process that could, under certain circumstances, result in a blue screen failure.
0002364 - Improved Offline Logins on platforms which use the Credential Provider technology where on rare occasions an "error 126" was observed in the diagnostic log.
