Upgrade the RemoteApp Launcher to version 2.0

If you have installed the previous version of RemoteApp Launcher 1.0.0.0 on the Remote Desktop Server and looking to upgrade to the next release of the RemoteApp Launcher version 2.0.0.0, please follow the steps in the resolution section to upgrade successfully. This KB article 4370947 does not apply if you are installing the RemoteApp Launcher version 2.0.0.0 for the first time without a pre-existing older version of the RemoteApp Launcher.

The RemoteApp Launcher enables users to access an application without revealing credentials and passwords. By using the RemoteApp Launcher, you can protect shared credentials and limit an end user’s access to an allowed or required application.
