Slow performance opening Lync Server User Properties -
Description
It takes too long to get results when configuring policies for Skype and querying the Lync/SfB Servers:

Cause
A remote PowerShell connection is established and several cmdlets are executed every time user properties are retrieved from the Skype server. Depending on the environment this might take some time. -
Résolution
WORKAROUND:
1.- Open the Registry Editor by navigating to Start->Run and typing regedit.2.- Navigate to the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\One Identity \Active Roles\7.2\Service. (Use HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\One Identity \Active Roles\7.3\Service , for Active Roles 7.3)3.- Create a new DWORD entry named StaticLyncConnection and set the value to '1'.
Note1: Setting this value to '0' or deleting the key will disable the fix.
Note2: This registry key enables caching so that opening and closing connections to Skype are cached. -
