When installing or upgrading Active Roles to v7.4.4 or later, the following PowerShell Module prerequisites are required. What is the recommended method to install these modules?
As of the current supported releases of Active Roles, the underlying PowerShell components are required. Failure to have these components installed may put you in an unsupported configuration.
OPTION 1
If the Active Roles server has Internet access, the following can be run to install Azure/O365 modules prerequisites:
Note: The Exchange Online Management module is referenced as version 3.0.0, this is due to the Modern Auth changes in Azure.
OPTION 2
If the Active Roles host is not online, the PowerShell modules can be installed on an online host, and copied to the Active Roles host. Run the cmdlets in Option 1 above to install the modules on an online host, then run the cmdlets below on the online host to save and prepare the modules to be copied:
