When attempting to add an additional Managed Domain in the Active Roles Console, it fails with the error The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted.
The required ports are all open and an LDAP bind on the target Domain works as expected.Review this Microsoft resource:

If no results are returned by Step 5 of the above, Active Roles will not be able to add this as a Managed Domains.
