One Identity Manager 9.0 is a Long Term Support (LTS) release. Please review the release notes prior to updating to version 9.0 LTS.


One Identity Manager 9.0 LTS is a Long Term Support release with new features and improved behavior. See New features on page 2 and Enhancements on page 9 of the Release Notes.

CAUTION: Before you update an existing One Identity Manager installation to version 9.0, note the following: - One Identity Manager 9.0 is a further development of version 8.2.1. All official releases of versions 8.2.1, 8.1.5, or earlier can be upgraded to version 9.0. Updating a newer version can lead to a downgrade. - Only selected patches, as defined by One Identity, are available for One Identity Manager 9.0. A hotfix that does not conform to this definition and has been provided for another version, is therefore not available for the 9.0 release.

Identity Manager helps you simplify the access management process by leveraging an automated architecture. With Identity Manager, you can manage user identities, privileges and security across the enterprise. It puts you in control of identity management and takes the burden off your IT staff.
