Password Generation Error: "Retry Limit For Password Generation Exceeded" -
Description
When creating a password policy for Active Directory that uses the built-in script called "ADS_PwdValidate" to verify the password an error is displayed.
The error reads "Retry limit for password generation exceeded":

Cause
Targeting any table but the "ADSAccount" table will result in this error when attempting to generate a password while the "ADS_PwdValidate" script is applied to verify the password. -
Résolution
WORKAROUND
Change the target table on the "Test" tab to "ADSAccount". E.g.:

The error message has been modified in version 8.1.2 to specify the actual issue, as per the following:
