Microsoft announced that they wouldn’t be accepting SHA1 certificates after 2016.
SHA1 is the hash algorithm specified in the Admin Guide page 23 when obtaining and installing custom certificates from a trusted Windows-based certification authority
The SHA-256 hashing algorithm can be used on Password Manager certs instead of SHA1.
In the case of the built in cert, SHA1 is not the hash algorithm used so the deprecation of SHA1 does not affect this.
