When trying to connect to a Session request, the error below appears in red font:
You cannot access this account while another request is under review. (90009)
A review is required as per the Access Request Policy configuration in this scenario, therefore, for every completed request on this account, a pending review will be created and will require completion by a Reviewer before a new request can be accessed by a Safeguard user.
- Reviewer settings are configured as part of the Entitlement > Access Request Policies > Reviewer
- Note: Users cannot review their own requests.
A designated Reviewer is required to login to Safeguard, find the outstanding review on the homepage and complete the pending review for the requested Account.
Alternatively, the Security Policy administrator can Close a request that has not yet been reviewed. This will bypass the reviewer in the workflow and allow the account to be accessed by another requester.
From SPP version 2.11 and above, Policy Administrators can choose to allow subsequent access requests to proceed even if the required review on a previous access request is incomplete. This prevents blocking a new session request when the prior request requires a review and the review is not done. Navigate to Administrative Tools | Entitlements | Access Request Policies | (create or edit a policy) | Reviewer tab | Pending reviews do not block access.
If you run into an issue with Open Requests disallowing closing when review is pending, this issue # 307445 is fixed in SPP version 7.0 LTS and above.
