The new releases of Safeguard for Sudo 7.4 and Privilege Manager for Unix 7.4 require a new license to be installed after the upgrade.
NOTE: It is important to have the license ready before upgrading because it must be installed immediately to avoid an interruption.
You may use the self-service option in the One Identity support portal to upgrade your license using the steps here
If you need help with your license upgrade, please submit a request using the licensing assistance form here
Once the policy server is upgraded run the following command to install the new license:
/opt/quest/sbin/pmlicense -l /pathtolicense/license.dlv
NOTE: Older agent or plugin versions of the product will not be affected; this is a server-side function only. Once the license is updated on the primary server, the agents and plugins can be upgraded at any time.
NOTE: The license can be tested prior to installation by installing a standalone policy server and running above noted pmlicense command.
