Description
Users can not ssh error Oct 7 15:33:23 aix daemon:warn|warning secldapclntd: 3001-718 Failed to search (&(objectclass=user)(uid=jdoe)) from the LDAP server. -
Cause
Conflicting software was installed. LDAP was configured first in the /etc/methods.cfg file and therefore the user never got to our module -
Résolution
1 - /usr/sbin/stop-secldapclntd
2 - Then we were able to login to ssh with QAS.
We recommend uninstalling this software if it is not being used.
