The requested session target does not match the target of the access request -
Description
While reviewing the Activity Centre, troubleshooting a session connection problem to a target system the following message is displayed in the Event Data field.
"The requested session target does not match the target of the access request"
User is expecting to take a session to target system, however Safeguard for Passwords is unable to create a successful connection and an Access Request Session Failure event is thrown. Reviewing the details of this event in the Activity Centre shows the message "The requested session target does not match the target of the access request"

Cause
Incorrect information configured on the Asset. -
Résolution
Verify the IP address or hostname information is correct for the Asset being connected to.
Perform NSLOOKUP against the IP address or Asset name to ensure the correct information is returned.
Use the Safeguard - Network Diagnostics tools to verify Safeguard can connect to the Asset using hostname or IP address to verify the configured information is correct.
Perform Check Connection against Asset to verify successful communication with Asset.
