Unable to use older software versions of Identity Manager with an database on a newer version.
Description

When attempting to connect Identity Manager frontend tools from an older version of the software to a database using a newer version of Identity Manager the following error messages were observed:

Migration version of this database is too new. This software works only with migration versions up to 2021.0011.0019.9999

or

Wrong username or password
Cause

This is expected
Resolution

Please ensure that the Identity Manager frontend tools software version matches the version of the Identity Manager database. These frontends are not backwards compatible with older versions of the software.
