Identity Manager Data Governance Edition 9.3.1 Cumulative Update 2 (4380393)

This cumulative update resolves issues that were found after the release of Identity Manager Data Governance Edition 9.3.1. Only selected resolved issues as defined by One Identity are available.

A cumulative update includes one or more transport packages with resolved issues for an release. The individual transport packages are combined into a cumulative transport package. The cumulative transport package settings specify the conditions under which the individual transport packages are installed and the order of installation.

To install the cumulative update

NOTE: These are simplified steps. Refer to the One Identity Manager Installation Guide for full upgrade information. For more information regarding the Data Governance Configuration wizard refer to the One Identity Manager Data Governance Edition Deployment Guide.

1. Perform a backup of your One Identity Manager database and Data Governance Resource Activity database before performing a version upgrade.
2. Replace your existing local \Modules\QAM folder with the QAM folder provided in this cumulative update release package. 
3. Run the JobQueueInfo.exe and wait for the queue to clear.
4. Once the job queue is empty, stop the One Identity Manager job service on the server handling queries from the Master SQL Server.
5. Stop the Data Governance service.
6. For SQL server deployments, ensure the SQL Server agent is running.
7. Perform a One Identity Manager and Data Governance Edition upgrade:
   1. Log in to the server hosting the One Identity Manager workstation tools and run the One Identity Manager autorun to install the new local Data Governance files. From the autorun, open the installation page and install the One Identity Data Governance Edition.
   2. Run the Configuration Wizard (ConfigWizard.exe) to upgrade and configure the One Identity Manager database.
      
      NOTE: You will be blocked from continuing if the job queue is not empty. You will be asked to stop the job service and close all open connections to the One Identity Manager database.
      
      
   3. Start the One Identity Manager job service.
   4. Run the Data Governance Wizard (Data Governance Configuration Wizard.exe) to upgrade the Data Governance service and connect to an existing (or install a new) resource activity database.
8. Open the Manager to upgrade the Data Governance agents. If prompted to perform updates, click Yes.
   
   NOTE: Support for Data Governance functionality in the new web portal is already included in the One Identity Manager 9.3.1 release. This service pack provides additional fixes and improvements delivered via a transport package.
   
   
9. Import the transport package(s) provided with this service pack using the Database Transporter.

To remove this cumulative update

1. Use Add/Remove Programs to remove One Identity Manager Data Governance Server 9.3.1.76..
2. Redeploy an older version of Data Governance Edition if required.
