Synchronization project shows a warning of a missing dll -
Description
When loading a synchronization project within the Synchronization Editor, the following warning is shown:
The following error occurred while checking for available updates
Could not find referenced assembly VI.Projector.SCIM.Migration.dll -
Cause
The job server does not have the dll mentioned -
Resolution
Confirm that the DLL exists on the job server. For Identity Manager On Demand and Identity Manager On Demand Starling Edition, the job server would be the on premise job server, the cloud hosted job server is not used for synchronization projects.
If the failing process step Migrate for the job DPR_Migrate_Shell shows the cloud job server then this is incorrect. The base object for this synchronization project needs to be switched to the on premise job server. This can be done via the synchronization editor, load the synchronization project which will be shown in a red status. A message will display that the synchronization project is in read only status, please ignore this. Once the synchronization project loads, click on base object and set the synchronization server to the on premise job server and save the changes. Once done kick off an migrate job by doing the following:
1) Open object browser
2) Navigate to DPRShell
3) Select the Salesforce synchronization project
4) Select the Actions tab and navigate to Events
5) Select Migrate and click Generate
6) A job will be triggered
7) Confirm that it completes successfully
