When attempting to use Active Directory authentication modules with Identity Manager On Demand Starling Edition, the clients and web portals are unable to authenticate. The following error is displayed:
[1205002] You are not authorized to use this database
Note: When attempting to use Active Directory Federation to login using OAuth the end user will also not be able to login. This may require a certificate to be installed on the API server that is hosted in the cloud.
Where the web portals use the application server for the connection it is not possible to authenticate using Active Directory authentication for any of the web portals. Administrators should choose to use alternatives such as OAuth authentication.
Anything where a local Active Directory on premise is involved will not work for authentication for Identity Manager On Demand Starling Edition.
It is not possible to install third party certificates from customers on the API hosts that are running Linux/Unix. This also applies when using OAuth authentication.
