Multi Factor Authentication on the password reset portal (4381759)

Is it possible to have a Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) in addition to the questions and answers for the "forgot my password" option in the password reset portal?

There is no option for this currently.

The suggested method is to use OAuth authentication and leverage the Identity Providers MFA options at the beginning of the request. For example if using Entra ID as an Identity Provider, it has the option to use MFA using different methods such as a one time code using Microsoft Authenticator. The option of doing this once the user clicks the forgot my password option in the password reset portal is not possible.
