SQL menu is greyed out in Object Browser -
Description
After logging into Object Browser with an account that has applicable access, the SQL menu is greyed out. -
Cause
Object Browser is using the application server for the database connection. -
Resolution
Follow the steps below to switch the database connection in Object Browser to use the direct SQL connection:
1. Open Object Browser.
2. Click on Add new connection.
3. Select SQL Server.
4. Click the Next button.
5. Select the server from the drop down (note: If the SQL server is not listed type it in manually).
6. Enter the applicable username and password.
7. Select the Identity Manager database from the dropdown.
8. Click the Finish button.
9. Login to Object Browser with an applicable account.
