Can the application server be used for the database connection within the Starling Connect connector? (4339329)

When attempting to setup the Starling Connect connector within the synchronization editor the 'Next' button does not light up after clicking on 'Connect'. This only happens if using the application server for the database connection in the Starling Connect connector screen.

WORKAROUND

Use a direct SQL connection for the Starling Connect connector database connection.

STATUS

Currently, the application server cannot be used as a database connection for the Starling Connect connector.  Enhancement request number 288784 has been created to add this feature to a future version of Identity Manager On Demand.
