Ident_UNSRoot field of UNSRoot had formatting script added
Identity Manager 6.1.2 added formatting script to the Ident_UNSRoot column of the UNSRoot table. Moreover, this cannot be changed from within Identity Manager because the setting "Custom template/formatting not permitted" is in place. As a result, target systems with an identifier containing special characters outside of the formatting script, which allows A-Z, 0-9 and underscores, can't be imported any longer.
Ident_UNSRoot is referred to in the fields XProxyContext of other UNS tables. XProxyContext is used in standard processes on these tables in order to determine VB script functions to be invoked. VB limits element naming to certain characters, which applies to those script function names. See also: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/81ed9a62.aspx . The limitation was introduced to the column as part of a fix for bug #19077.
Ensure that target systems identifiers stay within allowed characters of A-Z, 0-9 and underscore. (Case Insensitive)
