Error: "Password policy requires a minimum of 0 characters" (4331890)

The Following errors may be generated during installation of web portal or change of the Password policy:

"Task Creating database user for software updates ran into exception: One or more errors occurred"

"Writing randomly created dialog user 'WebAppService_3a5689af94064f3265876456a6545687' to database"

"[810348] Password policy requires a minimum of 0 characters, but the generated password should have 8 characters."

The Password policy error can be reproduced by using the button “Generate” near to “Generate a sample password” in Designer when changing the password policy.

WORKAROUND

Change the password policy value for Max.Length parameter.  For example, to the same value as Min.Length.  The Max.length=0 means that the password may not exceed 0 characters.
