Description
The G Suite connector cannot transfer user data to a different G suite user account prior to deleting a user account. The error resembles the following:
[1777018] Error executing synchronization project (G Suite customer 'example.tld')'s workflow (Transfer User Data).[1777124] Error executing projection step (UserDataTransfer) of projection configuration (Transfer User Data (Transfer User Data)).[1777219] Error executing synchronization step (UserDataTransfer)![1777004] Method (transferData (transferData)) could not be executed successfully.[System.Exception] DataTransfer from user to user takes too long at Google. Aborting polling for completion. -
Cause
A possible cause is a transfer failure for user data for the Rocket application. This is a G Suite issue affecting all customers using the data transfer feature. -
Resolution
WORKAROUND
There are two possible workarounds:
1. Set the connection parameter for the sync project 'CP_TransferUserDataBeforeDelete' to False. In that case no data transfer to another account prior to deletion takes place.
2. For version 8.1 Service Pack (SP) 3 and later, the application data can be adjusted to be transferred to a different user account prior to deletion. This requires an XML document during the connection configuration, for example:<Applications><Application name="Drive and Docs"><TransferParam key="PRIVACY_LEVEL"><TransferValue value="SHARED" /><TransferValue value="PRIVATE" /></TransferParam></Application><Application name="Calendar"><TransferParam key="RELEASE_RESOURCES"><TransferValue value="TRUE" /></TransferParam></Application><Application name="Google+" /></Applications>
STATUSDevelopment has acknowledged defect #33104 and implemented an additional configuration option through XML for the user data to be transferred as described above. This change is available in version 8.1 SP3 and later.
