Error during installation of WebManager if there is a "&" ampersand in the password of the ApplicationPool user. -
Description
If in the wizard for the ApplicationPool a specific user is specified, in whose password a "&" is contained, then in the conclusion the step "Encrypt web.config" fails with the error:

Cause
This is related to Product Defect CR Number 33831 -
Resolution
This is related to Product Defect CR Number 33831. The test was done in One Identity Manager 8.1.2 and may be affected in other versions too. This is targeted for a inclusion in Identity Manager v 8.1.5. Contact One Identity Support team to obtain the hotfix stating Product Defect Reference CR Number 33831. The fix is available and tested for Identity Manager v8.1.2, 8.1.3 and 8.1.4 and due for inclusion in v8.1.5
To apply the the fix: Replace the VI.WebInstaller.Plugin.Base.dll in the installation source in the folder "Modules\QBM\install\bin". -
