When switching from frozen jobs in JobQueueInfo the successor job no longer receives retry attempts -
Description
Steps to Reproduce:
Given are job J1 in frozen (and thus Retry=0) and J2 the successor job with Retry>0.If one switches in the JobQueueInfo Next in the success branch, J2 gets a Retry=0.Expected Result:
The successor job has nothing to do with the frozen job, its Retry attempts should remain, especially if it is a typical CheckJob.Deviating Result:
QBM_PJobUnfreeze takes the value @Retries from the current (frozen) job and updates the successor job using this variable. Job by means of this variable. If @ReactivationOf is in ('SUCCESS', 'ERROR') nothing should be changed in the Retry. -
Cause
This is related to Product Defect CR ID 34496 -
Resolution
One Identity Manager product team has acknowledged this as a product defect tracked by CR ID #34496. Inclusion of this fix is scheduled for next SP release 8.1.6. This hotfix is compatible with previous OneIM versions as well. Please contact One Identity support if you need this hotfix referencing the defect id #34496. -
