Changing the password via Launchpad leads to errors when applications are started afterwards (4331151)

Scenario:

1. Open Launchpad with a dialogue User whose password has expired. A popup window appears, that the password must be changed.

2. Change the password.

3. Then start any Frontend via Launchpad. Now comes the error that the password is wrong before you can enter anything:

"Wrong user name of password"

This is a product defect (33897).

WORKAROUND

Restart the launchpad.

STATUS

This will be fixed in a future release of the product. If you require this immediately corrected, please contact Support for a hotfix referencing the defect ID 33897.
