Pre-requisites for Identity Manager 10.0 (4381747)

Problems during install of Identity Manager 10.0, or problems launching the applications post install, can be down to missing prerequisites.

NET Framework 10
A major change from 9.0 through 9.2 and even from 9.3, Identity Manager 10 requires .NET 10

Components:

• SDK https://builds.dotnet.microsoft.com/dotnet/Sdk/10.0.100/dotnet-sdk-10.0.100-win-x64.exe
• Desktop Runtime https://builds.dotnet.microsoft.com/dotnet/WindowsDesktop/10.0.0/windowsdesktop-runtime-10.0.0-win-x64.exe
• IIS .net Hosting Core is not on the same page as the SDK download. You need this for the web server components. Find it here:
  https://builds.dotnet.microsoft.com/dotnet/aspnetcore/Runtime/10.0.0/dotnet-hosting-10.0.0-win.exe

Other required components/prereqs
SQL Server Management Studio https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/ssms/install/install

The install may fail if you do not have the minimum cumulative update installed for SQL Server.

SQL Server 2022 update (Cumulative Update Package 22 for SQL Server 2022 - KB5068450)

Microsoft Edge WebView2 https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/Microsoft-edge/webview2/?form=MA13LH
this is pre-installed in Windows 11 VMs but is required for server side installs
