The SSHD agent can be restarted from the /admin web interface. Navigate to System Status/Settings | Agents | SSHD Agent and click the Restart button.
If the service has become unresponsive in the underlying operating system, it may not restart properly using this method. In that case, a full restart of the appliance will be necessary to recover the SSHD agent.
