Currently the SCP would need to be removed manually. There is an existing Enhancement Request ( CR # 4959) for the SCP to be removed automatically when uninstalling the Management Portal. This feature may be included in a future release of the product.
The DSS (Defender Security Server) should recognize that the SCP is no longer present after approximately 5 minutes. The LogQueue.dat file can then be deleted - this should not require a stop of the DSS.
The logQueue.dat file will be located in this folder by default: C:\Program Files\One Identity\Defender\Security Server\Logs
If the SCP is deleted manually (and the Management Portal has not been uninstalled) then the corresponding 'SCP-BindingString' registry key should also be removed from the server hosting the Management Portal otherwise an application error will occur when viewing the logging configuration web page.
The key can be found in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Quest Software\Defender\Web Interface.
