How to install this hotfix
To install the update for Defender components:
1. Rename the file Defender-5.8.1-SOL183932.exe.rename to remove the .rename file name extension.
2. Run the file Defender-5.8.1-SOL183932.exe on the computer running Defender and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.
To install the update for Desktop Login Group Policy:
1. Rename the file DefenderDesktopLoginGroupPolicy-5.8.1-SOL183932.exe.rename to remove the .rename file name extension.
2. Run the file DefenderDesktopLoginGroupPolicy-5.8.1-SOL183932.exe on the computer running Defender Desktop Login Group Policy and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
To install the update for EAP Agent:
1. Rename the file DefenderEAPAgent-5.8.1-SOL183932.exe.rename to remove the .rename file name extension.
