This hotfix addresses an issue with upgrades timing out in clusters.

IMPORTANT: Always back up your appliance before you install an update file. Once you install an update file you cannot uninstall it.
To install the hotfix
- Log into the cluster member. This needs to be done for each cluster member.
- Navigate to Administrative Tools | Settings | Appliance Information.
- Expand Appliance Diagnostics.
- Click Clear if any Diagnostic Bundle is staged on the appliance.
- Click Upload and navigate to the location of the Safeguard hotfix file.
- Click OK
- Click Execute. When complete, the Appliance Diagnostics page will indicate the Status of Completed.
Once this process has been performed for all cluster members, proceed with cluster patch from the primary as normal.In testing, this hotfix takes between 10 and 30 seconds to execute, per appliance.There will be a minimal period of downtime for some appliance functionality as the hotfix stops and starts a few internal services. During execution you will notice a Service is Unavailable banner that appears while waiting for the services to restart.
Removing this hotfix
To remove this hotfix:Once installed you cannot remove this hotfix patch.
